TB4
TB4
The full-length, unmodified Thymosin Beta-4 protein (43 amino acids), as distinct from TB-500 which is the synthetic acetate form of the key active fragment (Ac-SDKP region). TB4 is the naturally occurring protein found in virtually all human and animal cells. Regulates actin polymerization, promotes wound healing, angiogenesis, and has cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties. TB4 and TB-500 are closely related but TB4 refers to the complete native sequence.
